Official Container Consolidation Service China – Vietnam

1. What is Official Container Consolidation?

Official container consolidation is the solution for businesses that want to import goods from China to Vietnam through legal channels but do not have enough cargo to fill a container. Their goods can be combined with shipments from other companies heading to the same destination to optimize container space. This helps businesses reduce costs while ensuring shipment quality and legal compliance.

2. Advantages of Official Container Consolidation

– Legal compliance of goods: Official import/export requires complete sales contracts binding both buyer and seller under trade agreements between countries, or between a country and global organizations, regions, or associations. This ensures legality of the shipment, avoiding seizure or penalties for goods without origin documents.

– Maximum cargo safety: With modern warehouses and equipment at both ends, cargo is loaded into containers directly in China and unloaded in Vietnam without unnecessary intermediaries. This minimizes handling, reduces the risk of breakage, and prevents missing parts for bulky or fragile shipments.

– Lower transportation costs: Instead of paying the full container cost, businesses share costs proportionally. Each shipper pays their share of transportation fees, reducing overall expenses.

– Faster and more reliable delivery: Official shipments avoid border delays. Average delivery takes only 3–5 days.

3. Limitations of Container Consolidation

– If cargo volume is insufficient to fill a container, shipping time may extend to 8–10 days while waiting for consolidation.
