Types of Official Import Services at Viet Trung

1. Consolidated Container (Official Import)

– For customers importing small quantities
– Transportation by road or sea

2. Full Container Load

– For businesses importing large volumes
– Can be declared under the company’s name on customs documents

3. Express Shipping – Multimodal – Air Freight

– Suitable for urgent shipments requiring fast delivery

How Import Service Costs Are Calculated

Total Cost = A. Import & Export Entrustment Fee + B. Shipping Fee + C. Import Tax & VAT + D. Specialized Inspection Fee (if applicable)

– Entrustment Fee: From 500,000 VND/item
– Shipping Fee: Calculated by kg or m³, ranging from 8,000 – 2,600,000 VND depending on product and delivery method
– Tax & VAT: Based on product category, averaging 10,000 – 30,000 VND/kg
– Specialized Inspection Fee: From 1,000,000 – 12,000,000 VND (food, household electronics, toys, etc.)

Compensation Policy for Imported Goods

If customers use cargo insurance:

– Compensation up to 100% of declared customs value
– Insurance fee: From 5% – 7% of goods value

If customers do not use insurance:

– Bulk goods by ton: Maximum compensation 20,000,000 VND/ton
– Goods by m³: Maximum compensation 10,000,000 VND/m³
– Mixed goods ≥50kg/bag: 15,000,000 VND/bag
– Mixed goods <50kg: 250,000 VND/kg
– Small retail orders: 100,000 VND/kg

For broken goods:

– If packaging requirements are reported in advance: Eligible for compensation
– If NOT reported in advance: No compensation
– If dented/damaged during transport: Compensation up to 100% of declared customs value

Note: All damage claims must include a video recording of the unloading process.
